Which balance bike is right for your toddler?

zoom — for outdoor adventures & growing confidence

Our premium balance bike smooths rougher paths with puncture-proof rubber tires and an ergonomic shell built for longer outings. Height-adjustable bars and seat keep stride with rapid growth spurts, while the 7-lb frame stays maneuverable for park races, neighborhood laps, and backyard obstacle courses.

zoom lite — for first-time riders & everyday ease

Launching in the U.S. July 2025, at 5.7 lb, zoom lite is ideal for younger toddlers, indoor playrooms, and travel days when every ounce matters. A tool-free seat slide lets caregivers tweak height on the go, and PU tires glide quietly across hardwood, pavement, or terminal floors. At $99, it’s an easy, budget-friendly invite to the balance-bike world.

mima zoom bike and toddler bike helmet safety

Helmet basics

First rides feel big—gear up accordingly. Look for a toddler helmet that:

  1. Carries a CPSC sticker (U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission) to confirm it meets current federal standards.

  2. Sits level, an inch above the eyebrows, without tilting.

  3. Forms a snug “V” under each earlobe when straps are clipped and tightened.

  4. Weighs under 10 oz and includes removable pads—lighter designs reduce neck strain and boost confidence.

Add soft knee and elbow pads if your new rider prefers extra reassurance. A well-fitted helmet + a properly adjusted seat = freedom with peace of mind.

which ride fits your life?

Both bikes honor the same principles—purpose, safety, and longevity—just expressed differently. If your kiddo thrives on outdoor quests, zoom takes the lead. If you need a lighter lift for travel or small-space play, zoom lite answers.
